Head Injury
Following head injury one should look for the following symptoms and/or signs that will require medical intervention:
1. Headache
2. Vomiting
3. Drowsiness
4. Abnormal movements including blurred vision
In case any of the above symptoms occur then do take the patient to the hospital for further management.

Middle Ear Infection
Following upper respiratory tract infection one can develop acute otitis media (middle ear infection) in which the pain is unbearable. Once fluid starts draining from the ear the pain subsides.
In middle ear infection kindly consult your doctor who shall start:
1. Antibiotic
2. Decongestant
The antibiotic shall have to be continued for at least a week for the middle ear infection to get controlled.

Repeated URTI
It is not unusual for children of age group 1-5 years to develop upper respiratory tract infection frequently. As a new-born reaches the first birthday the immunity received at birth from the mother wanes off and the child has to develop his own immunity. This is only possible by repeated infection and this phenomenon persists for a couple of years. Most of the time nothing has to be done but a few times in a year medication will be required to control the infection.
Giving the child a well-balanced nutritious diet will help develop the immunity.
